Digital transformation of mining enterprises: system maturity

The article analyzes digital transformation in the mining industry, including the introduction of autonomous systems and artificial intelligence. Examples of the use of predictive analytics to improve efficiency and safety, as well as the use of drones and sensor networks in monitoring of open pits and underground workings are considered. Special attention is paid to changes in the personnel policy of enterprises and the need to develop digital competencies of personnel. Prospects for further expansion of the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, their impact on the competitiveness of the industry and risk mitigation in mining are also noted.
