The article examines the impact of digital transformation processes on the modern service industry. It is shown that at this period digital transformation is the last stage in the digital technology development in its impact on business and is characterized by the maximum degree of impact, which involves a fundamental rethinking of all company activities on the digital base. Research results have shown that digital transformation, combined with an entrepreneurial orientation, contributes to the competitive advantages of service organizations, which can help both theorists and practitioners in developing business strategies.
