Digital transformation as a promising direction of industrial development in Uzbekistan

The problem of modernization of the economy of Uzbekistan is extremely relevant and widely recognized in society. The article examines the current trends and factors of the development of the digital economy in the whole country, as well as in its separate sector - industry. It is concluded that the digital transformation of the industrial sector requires state assistance, the development of digital infrastructure, increased incentives for the introduction of digital solutions, staff motivation. The directions of digitalization for the near future in the industrial sector of the economy of Uzbekistan are outlined.
