Digitalization of the US banking sector and its impact on the global economy

The article examines the key areas of digital modernization of the US banking sector and their impact on the transformation of the national and global financial system. The implementation of artificial intelligence, blockchain solutions, biometrics, cloud technologies and digital payment instruments is analyzed. The economic effects of digitalization, the changing competitive environment, the growth of cross-border integration and related risks, including cyber threats and regulatory challenges, are assessed. Additionally, the impact of fintech ecosystems, Open Banking and Banking as a Service models on changing business models and the redistribution of roles between traditional and non-bank financial market participants in the provision of payment and other services is considered. Special attention is paid to the impact of digital transformation on international capital flows, financial inclusion and the sustainability of the global financial architecture.
