Digitalization of education as a constitutive element of modern screen culture

The article presents the results of the analysis of the process of digitalization of education in modern screen culture. The relevance of the study is related to the need to understand the role of digitalization of education in the situation of media expansion. One of the characteristic features of digitalization of education is the active use of digital technologies. The author proceeds from the thesis that the digitalization of education is a necessary element of the complexity of screen culture.In the conditions of digitalization, media content is being created, which becomes a special environment for learning and socio-cultural interaction between people. In the study, the author analyzes both the advantages and disadvantages of the process of digitalization of education, which indicate the complexity and consistency of the phenomenon of screen culture itself. Based on the analysis of the digitalization of education as a necessary constitutive element of screen culture, the author defines the specifics and prospects for the development of modern screen culture. In this regard, the fundamental factor, according to the author, is the influence of digitalization of education on the consciousness and behavior of a person acting as an active subject and translator of the values of screen culture.
