Digital ruble as an object of civil rights

The author of this article highlights the problem of a new phenomenon of digitalization - the digital ruble from the point of view of determining its legal nature. The author approached the concept of "digital ruble" through the prism of civil science, bringing various points of view on the legal nature of the new phenomenon. The author conducted a comparative analysis of the digital ruble and digital currency. An attempt was also made to determine the place of the digital ruble in the system of the object of civil rights. As a result, the author drew conclusions about the need to reform civil legislation and the impossibility at present to determine the digital ruble in the family of objects of civil rights.
