Digital databases in the forensic expert activities

The article studies the essence and significance of digital databases in forensic science. The relevance of the work lies in the fact that today there is an acute issue of increasing the efficiency and expanding the possibilities of forensic activity based on the use of modern digital technologies. The main goals of using databases in forensic activity are investigated. The article notes the problems associated with the digitalization of forensic science: procedural restrictions, the rapid development of digital technologies and the lag of data analysis tools. The necessity of further development of expert methods and ensuring information security of forensic expert activities, improving the training of forensic experts is substantiated.
