Digital rights as a new object of civil law

The article analyzes the changes made to the Civil code of the Russian Federation regarding the introduction of a new object of civil rights - digital rights. The adopted changes are intended to resolve a wide range of relations arising with respect to rights that are recorded in digital form, which is a positive point, since this problem has long required a solution. Based on the research, it is concluded that it is more appropriate and sufficient to adopt a provision on a digital method of fixing property rights.
