Digital recording tools in criminal proceedings

In this article, the authors consider the effectiveness of the use of digital recording tools in criminal proceedings. The article defines the concept of "digital means of fixation", examines the characteristics of materials obtained using modern technologies, as well as identifies their advantages and disadvantages. The authors also suggest a number of practical actions to improve the quality of digital materials. The implementation of these methods in practice will make it possible to investigate criminal cases more effectively.
