We studied the reaction of the bone marrow on the development of acute primary large-focal myocardial infarction. It was shown that within first hours of acute myocardial infarction the number of circulating in the blood CD34+38-, CD133+, CD117+, CD90+34- cells in bone marrow significantly increased in comparison with healthy individuals. The data showing the involvement of stem cells studied in the compensatory-adaptive reactions in patients with acute myocardial infarction is provided.
