Color harmonies: original text and translation

The article is devoted to the color designation problems. For analysis the translation of the poetry collection by Тh. Gautier «Emaux et Camees» done by N. Gumilev, were taken. Diversity of differences in lexical units denoting colors in the original text and its translation results from French and Russian cultural differences and personal perception of the world by the author and by the translator.
