Damla Ikramcha and its work on the remains of the past (Bidyat)

The article examines the life and scientific legacy of Damla Ikramchi, a scientist who worked in Bukhara in the late XIX early XX centuries. He was one of the famous Ulema of his time, and was known as a prodjadid. Damla Ikramchi wrote poetry under the pseudonym of "Akram". The article provides information that he left 4 treatises as a legacy. His work titled the Gift of Beni behati mashura ("An account of the famous remnants of the past") was published in 1911 in Bukhara, and had a very great influence on the worldview of the jadids. The article analyzes the socio-educational views Damla Ikramchi of his judgments about the past (vidyuth) and superstitions (khurafat) among the people.
