Deformation of family structure in the conditions of migration

The article presents the results of the study of changes in the structure and psychological health of Russianspeaking families in the circumstances of forced migration. The authors describe four models of psychological relations between parents and children before the migration. The analysis of negative consequences of the migration allowed the authors to distinguish three groups of families under consideration. It is concluded that the violation of social and psychological conditions and psychological health of the family affected in the negative way its structure and the principles of upbringing, but the degree of deformation is determined in many respects by the prior readiness of the family to get under the stress of social changes and the quality of intrafamilial communication.
