Pedagogy and psychology department activities in preparing students to implement the educational functions: historical and pedagogical aspect

The role of Pedagogy and Psychology Department of Penza State University in the preparation of students for the implementation of educational activities is shown. The content and organization of the department's activities in this field are characterized in a historical and pedagogical context based on data from archival sources from the funds of the State Archives of the Penza Region, memoirs of veterans of the department and materials from the University website. The stages in the history of the department's activity on the formation of this readiness are highlighted and their general characteristics are presented. The ways of impro ving department's activities to form the readiness of students to implement the educational function in modern conditions are outlined based on the analysis of the department's experience.
