The article is devoted to the scientific activity in exile of one of the leading theologians of the Petrograd Theological Academy and of the Russian Orthodox Church as a whole, N. N. Glubokovsky. He escaped the fate of most of the other Academy professors and was not subjected to repression by the Soviet government, which he treated negatively. Having left Soviet Russia, the scientist lived in Finland, Germany, Czechoslovakia, and the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, but primarily in Bulgaria. During the emigration period N. N. Glubokovsky was engaged in fruitful scientific activity for almost 16 years, creating a number of valuable theological works. He actively joined the activities of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, playing an important role in the creation of its higher theological education. N. N. Glubokovsky also did a lot to familiarize the international community with the achievements of Russian theological science. The scholar’s archives have mostly been preserved, and some of his unedited scientific works were published in the late 20th - early 21st centuries.
