The activities of Sterlitamak regional library technical college (1937-1941 yrs.)

On the basis of archival materials the article reviews the activities of Sterlitamak regional library technical college from 1937 to 1941 yrs. Its rich positive experience of the specialists’ training is covered. Its curriculum, educational programs as well as teaching methods and techniques were explored. The content, forms and technologies of library workers training were revealed. Much attention was paid to material base development of the college, its structural departments. The teachers’ and the students’ personal data were analyzed. Moral, physical, occupational and esthetical education of the students was examined.
