Activities of higher education entities of the Republic of Crimea in the context of socio-economic development of the region

The article assesses the current state of higher education in the Cri-mean Peninsula, examines the main changes in the educational sphere of the region in recent years (from 2017 to 2021). Based on the content analysis of data from the official websites of administrative and educational institutions, quantitative indicators (statistical data) and qualitative transformations, secondary data obtained by Russian scientists in the course of research on the peninsula’s higher education, the authors of the article characterize the educational services market provided by the republic’s higher education system. The dynamics and analysis of the activities of the target subjects of higher education in the conditions of “reconstruction” of educational practices of universities after the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation is traced. The transformations of socio-economic character in the system of higher education of the region are investigated, their influence on the activity of higher educational institutions at the moment of realization of the goals, which the republic sets for itself, is determined.
