The article examines the impact of the demographic situation on the Russian economy over the past 30 years: analyzes the natural, migration and total population growth, the volume of gross domestic product (GDP), the impact of migration population growth on the country's GDP, finds out the causes of natural population decline, ways to solve this problem, including through economic growth.
