Democracy and inequality

The article considers self-restriction of democracy. The author considers this problem following the work of N.A. Berdyaev The Philosophy of Inequality. According to the author of the article, his judgments about universal suffrage became old-fashioned, but the analysis of development of «rough» democracy and equalizing trends in the society conforms to current ideas and may be used to optimize social programs.
