Demonstration exam on World Skills standards as a factor for improving the quality of training college graduates

The paper discusses the main features that characterize the modern format for passing the final qualification certification by graduates of Russian colleges, such as a demonstration exam according to World Skills standards. As part of the study, the author conducts a comparative analysis of innovations that distinguishes this version of the exam from the traditional format of the final qualifying work that took place in secondary vocational education earlier, and suggests ways to introduce a new type of state final certification in the educational process. The considered certification system in the form of a demonstration exam was tested on the basis of an institution of secondary vocational education among graduate students. Based on the results of experimental work, the author identified the advantages and disadvantages of this system, and also proposed a number of recommendations for optimizing the exam procedure according to World Skills standards.
