German deverbatives, functioning in modern migration discourse, are considered by us as a recurrent means of linguistic representation of the basic concepts of the thematic sphere "Migration and migration processes". Taking into account the lexical and derivational semantics of deverbatives, which nominate the main migration processes and events in modern society, as well as their participants, we have identified and described such basic derivational models of German deverbative nouns in migration discourse, such as: substantiation; affixation by means of suffixes -ung, -t, -er, -ler, -ing; as well as non-affix word production and word composition.
