Determination of the image of Russia from ancient to modern time: linguo-philosophical approach

The authors study the image of Russia from ancient times to the present. The essence and nature of the formation of the image of the state in general and of Russia in particular as an artificial establishment is expounded. The origin of the title “Russia” is investigated. The presented image of Russia is considered in the linguo-philosophical aspect in accordance with the concepts of “eidos” and “image”. The methodology of hermeneutic and contextual analysis was used. As a result, it is noted that the true image of the state does not stem from an artificially created “image” formed under the influence of many internal and external factors, but from the attitude of improving the world in accordance with the principles of human nature. The indicated ratio of the natural image “eidos” and the artificial image has not yet been resolved in modern Russian reality and requires further research, taking into account the conditions of modern globalization.
