Determinologization in the Buryat language (on the example of the Buddhist term nom)

Бесплатный доступ

The work highlights the processes of determinologization in the Buryat language on the basis of borrowed Buddhist terms. It is emphasized that the Buddhist vocabulary is mainly borrowed from Sanskrit and Tibetan languages through intermediary languages (Uyghur, Sogdian, Mongol, etc.). It is recognized that determinologization associated with interlingual migration processes is one of the driving forces of the development of the Buryat language, replenishment of its vocabulary. The paper notes that determinologization is a long process, involving a stage of determinologization, which has its own characteristics in the Buryat language and is a long process of degeneration into a common word, with examples from lexicographic sources being used. The process of determinologization is illustrated by examples from the National Corpus of the Buryat language.
