The article is devoted to the problems of enculturation of the child with disabilities in the children's library. The article considers the features of the reader and cultural development of children suffering from various physiological abnormalities. The term “enculturation reader” is interpreted from the point of view of realization of the essential functions and tasks of the children’s library, first of all, from the point of view of the need for spiritual and creativ edevelopment, aesthetic education of the younger generation. Special attention is paid to the experience of children's libraries in the field of enculturation of the child with disabilities. The article shows the significant features of children's library in the area of enculturation of the child - the reader with disabilities, intellectual and physical development of the surrounding reality. The article also describes the most current approaches to the management of reading the younger generation, updated in the works of contemporary followers.
