Diagnostic and predictive functions of the marine crane electric motor protection system

The article discusses the thermal control system of a ship's crane with diagnostic and prognostic functions. It is proposed to implement a system with indirect control based on a microprocessor device. For the adequate functioning of the system, in addition to the temperature measurement channel, an engine speed measurement channel is introduced into it.
