Diagnostic value of procalcitonin, C-reactive protein and trans-resonant functional topography in the course of community-acquired pneumonia

Comparative assessment of blood procalcitonin and C-reactive protein determination methods in community-acquired pneumonia has been performed. Practical advantage of C-reactive protein determination over procalcitonin one has been demonstrated. The trans-resonant functional topography in comparison with low exposure digital fluorography technique has been carried out.
