Diagnosing education quality through a system of tests

The article is devoted to implementation of test technologies in diagnosing the quality of education. The results of a subject knowledge evaluation performed on the basis of an analyses of a preliminary entrants testing in physics are given. The effectiveness of the test system is demonstrated, practical recommendations given.
