Aimed at revealing ischemic stroke reasons and optimizing the treatment early after the surgeries for occlusive atherosclerosis of brachiocephalic arteries, we examined 154 operated on patients having cerebral blood flow insufficiency of several types. It was established that complex using transcaranial monitoring and duplex scanning allows to reliably determine the reason of ischemic stroke occurring early after the surgery which in turn allows to determine treatment strategy to normalize cerebral blood flow.
