Dialectics of public consciousness generation and traditional values

The aim of the study is to substantiate the idea that social consciousness is a dynamic phenomenon and has a complex dialectics of reproduction, i.e. generation. The foundation of its quality, completeness and contradiction is the process of assimilation by the younger generation of traditional values of society, preserved in the family, social environment and society. The author argues the thesis about the leading role of existence for the formation of the value world of the younger generation as a component of public consciousness. The article relies on the conclusions of the works of K. Jung, L.S. Vygodsky, E.V. Ilyenkov and other authors and suggests that school as a significant period of socialization of a child should be considered not only as a stage of education, but also as a major stage of the genesis of social consciousness, one of the foundations of which should be the people’s traditional values.
