The author, identifying the important role of human factors and motivation to work in the economic development of the region, offers to give serious attention to creating a positive image of the region and the country as a whole. According to the author, media image region should organically combine ethnic and national components. Analyzing the dialectical relationship of ethnic and national identity of Russians using the media, the author argues that such content will boost its ethno-national identity, cultural development, the formation of desire to work effectively, the end result will lead to economic growth. Special role, according to the author, called upon to play media for children and youth, as it is in childhood formed the main setup man, the motivation to work and its results
