The dialogue of cultures at English language lessons

This article discusses the concept of "dialogue of linguistic cultures" in the educational process. This problem is relevant due to the fact that conflicts in the field of intercultural communication occur quite often. The ways of forming such skills as tolerance, respect for representatives of other cultures and nations are shown. As an illustrative material, examples of tasks used in English lessons to understand the culture of the foreign language being studied are presented. When developing educational programs, it is proposed to integrate local content into students' communication activities, both to increase students' motivation to learn the language and to prepare students for intercultural communication.
