Dialogue of cultures in the literary process of Buryatia in the 20th century

The article deals with the interaction of various artistic traditions in the literary process of Buryatia, traces the appeal of Buryat poets and writers to the experience of Russian writers. The review includes works by Munko Saridak, Solbone Tuy, S. Dunaev, E. Khorinskaya, Zh. Tumunov, D. Ulzytuev, V. Mitypov, I. Kalashnikov and others. We have analyzed the role of translation in the development of literature, revealed the interest of Russian writers of Buryatia in the literature and culture of the Buryat people. Dialogue is considered as a mutually enriching process that becomes a prominent phenomenon in the culture of the region. A number of works of the Buryat and Russian literature has references to other national traditions. The artistic synthesis of traditions contributes to the development of new genres, artistic consciousness, self-identification of the people at a new level.
