Differentiation of the functions of the preschool teacher and the educational psychologist during the development of gaming activities of junior preschool students

The article is devoted to psychological and pedagogical support during the development of gaming activities of junior preschool students. The psychological and pedagogical support of the game activity of preschool students is viewed in terms of the division of two components in this process, i.e. the pedagogical support as the activity of the preschool teacher of the kindergarten and the psychological support as the activity of the educational psychologist of the preschool education institution. Special attention is paid to identifying the roles of a preschool teacher and a psychologist in supporting the development of gaming activities of junior preschool students. The pilot study, which included the work of a preschool teacher and a psychologist arranged in accordance with the specified functions, allowed the authors to elaborate the methods of psychological and pedagogical support during the development of gaming activities for junior preschool students and successfully introduce them into practice.
