Differentiation of isolates of pathogen caused downy mildew on sunflower on the basis of SNPS

The review of researches on molecular markers search for differentiation of pathogen races caused sunflower Downy Mildew Plasmopara halstedii (Farl.) Berl. et de Toni is presented. A possibility of application of the markers based on revealing single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and methods revealing these mutations for genetic researches is described. Polymorphism of DNA of locus Pfa74 for isolates of Downy Mildew pathogen from the different countries is studied. It is shown, that all isolates from Krasnodar region of Russia are identical on locus Pfa74 and have the same alleles.
