To the problem of differential diagnosis of acute psychotic disorders

This article includes literature review and some aspects of differential diagnosis and analysis of acute psychotic disorders. The analysis of literature data and results of carried out research allows assuming that acute psychoses represent a heterogeneous group of disorders with multifactor mechanisms of development. Features of etiopathogenesis and clinic of acute psychotic disorders in two groups of patients of the Altai Krai have been investigated. The clinical follow-up and statistical methods were used. Statistically significant differences of clinical and social structures of persons with investigated nosologies have been revealed. Conclusion: The solution of tasks connected with the management to differential diagnosis in acute psychotic disorders requires taking into account many factors that are important in their origin and appropriate approaches, including psychodynamic ones.
