The article presents the results of a study of the phenomenon of self-stigmatization in patients who have experienced a primary psychotic episode. Objective: to determine the types of self-stigmatization in the dynamics of the underlying disease based on the assessment of its interaction with the variants of social and labor adaptation for the subsequent development of differentiated rehabilitation programs for patients with the first psychotic episode. Material. The sample included 134 patients diagnosed with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder who met the criteria of the first psychotic episode. Methods: clinical-psychopathological, psychometric (PANSS, "SS Measure") and statistical. Statistically significant differences in the level of self-stigmatization between groups of patients with different types of social and labor adaptation were revealed. On the basis of the findings the types of internal stigma depending on the dynamics of the endogenous process were identified.
