This article presents the results of feeding the feed additive NSP-N-carbamylglutamate and its effect on the dynamics of hormones in the blood plasma of bulls. The experiment was carried out on two groups of bulls of the Simmental breed. One group served as a control, and the other group was fed NGN-carbamylglutamate feed additive as part of a barley-wheat mixture for 3 months. According to the results of studies in the experimental group - 7, 8, 9-month-old bulls in blood plasma, a significant increase in the concentration of somatotropin and cortisol was found. In turn, these changes in the hormonal background indicate the activation of metabolic processes that influenced the intense puberty and body weight growth of bulls.
