Dynamics of youth vocabulary at the example of the gothic subculture in Russia

The article deals with the dynamics of the vocabulary of the Gothic subculture. Based on the subculture Internet sites of two past decades the author demonstrates the deactualization of the Gothic slangisms and the addition of the Gothic vocabulary by the general young slang units. The acquired results substantiate the culturologists’ conclusions of the virtualization of the subcultures by the language material, the blurring of their lines and the formation of the subculture mixes.
