The dynamics of illicit arms trafficking crimes and crimes committed with the use of weapons in the territory of the CIS countries during the period of 2006-2015

The article reviews the data on the dynamics of illicit arms trafficking crimes and crimes committed with the use of weapons in the territory of the CIS in general and in each of the member-states during the period of 2006 - 2015. The author has analysed two possible scenarios of the dynamics of the crimes under study (optimistic and pessimistic). It is argued that the use of the scenarios in the activities of the CIS countries will help to approach objectively development of the measures aimed to combat the illicit arms trafficking.
