Dynamics of the development of the level of manual skills and theoretical knowledge of students of the faculty of dentistry after the introduction of the author’s methodological manual for the development of practical skills into the study

The article considers the importance of the development of manual skills of students of the Faculty of Dentistry in the process of becoming future specialists of dentists. The level of motivation for students of 1-5 courses of the Faculty of Dentistry to improve their practical skills was assessed, and the difficulties faced by students who want to practice manual skills at home were identified. We have proposed a way to solve the problem that hinders the development of students' practical skills during extracurricular time - the author's methodological guide, which is a guide for the successful development of the manual in 4 areas of dentistry: surgical, therapeutic, orthopedic and propaedeutic. After the introduction of the methodological guide into the study, the dynamics of students' knowledge and skills were evaluated, and conclusions were drawn on the success of the influence of our author's guidance.
