Dynamics of morbidity and mortality from melanoma of the skin in the Tyumen region in comparison with the Russian Federation for the period from 2014-2018

The article deals with the main issues of epidemiology of melanoma of the skin (MC) in the Tyumen region( TR), the Russian Federation (RF) for the period 2014-2018.According to the regional population cancer register, the relative (rough) incidence of melanoma of the skin (MS) in THE analyzed period increased from 5.46 to 6.78 per 100 thousand of the average annual population, the increase for this period of time reached 24.2%, the average annual growth rate (SGTP) -6.05%.Similar data for the Russian Federation amounted to 5.47 and 6.41, the growth rate-17.2%, and with the GP-4.3%, which is slightly lower than in the Tyumen region. Rates of one-year mortality from MC in THE decreased in 2014-2018 from 1.3% to 1.1%.In the structure of mortality from skin melanoma IN 2018, rough indicators are-1.6 (RF-2.53), in 2014, respectively-1.89 (RF - 2.23) per 100 thousand population. The authors conclude that for the period from 2014 to 2018 in the Tyumen region there is an increase in morbidity, one-year mortality and a decrease in mortality of patients with melanoma of the skin.
