Distance learning in higher education during the pandemic: problems and possible risks

The novel coronavirus infection, which has rapidly spread throughout the world, has caused the need for transformations in every area, and higher education has not been left out. The relevance of the presented work is determined by the need to consider the difficulties encountered during training, the perceived risks, on the basis of which, in the future, it is possible to identify areas of work to overcome them. The analysis of the educational process in a remote format during the spread of the COVID-19 virus became the purpose of the study, for the implementation of which the tasks were set: to examine the foreign and domestic experience of universities during quarantine measures, to identify the main difficulties and risks associated with them. In the process of research, the author of the paper used theoretical methods, such as analysis and synthesis. Sociological methods - statistical and expert assessments - are taken as the basis for drawing conclusions.
