The article analyzes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on civil justice in Russia. It considering a bill on amendments to certain legislative acts in terms of regulation of distant legal proceedings. The article also presents positive and negative aspects of remote legal proceedings, as well as the risks that may arise with administering justice in online-format. The ways of solving the problems that may arise when considering cases in a remote format are proposed.
