The implantation of devices for long subcutaneous ECG monitoring (LSEM; Reveal XT) was made in 290 patients after catheter ablation of different patterns of atrial fibrillation (AF). 892 episodes of AF have been registered by way of devices in 64.4% patients (mean 3.07 epi-sodes/pts) during 6.8±1.4 monthes of follow-up. 32.6% events were asymptomatic. Paroxysms of AF have not been registered in 11% patients during symptom activation of device. That demonstrates a phenomenon of vegetative hypersensing. An algorithm of place mapping for device implantation was suggested, that reduce time of implantation procedure. Also a method of the sensing selection on the basis of myopotentions provocation, that reduce the frequency of false-positive arrhythmic detection.
