Free child home - an immense pedagogical experiment

The article tells about the history and the work of the unique educational establishment - the Free Child Home. The theory of the education developed by K. N. Wentzel was laid at the base of it. The activity of the Free Child Home is being presented as a long pedagogical experiment, where the possibility of implementing of pedagogical ideas corresponding to the ideal was being proved.
