Domestic violence against children: methods of prevention

The article is devoted to the actual problem of domestic violence against children. Children who have suffered from violent acts of various kinds are more in need of appropriate assistance from special services, including schools. The results of an anonymous survey of 9th grade students in Kirov are presented, showing respondents’ partial awareness of ways to solve problems associated with violent acts in everyday life. Some forms and ways of working with children in schools on the prevention of domestic violence are proposed: classes with training elements, drawing, lecture discussions, conversations with parents, consultations, individual work. The organization of cooperation between an educational organization and law enforcement agencies, prevention agencies, and crisis centers is an important condition in the fight against domestic violence.
