Achieving demographic stability as a necessary condition for the economic development of modern Kazakhstan

The article examines the demographic and socio-economic issues of the development of modern Kazakhstan. Analysis of the demographic situation in Kazakh society indicates an increase in the population around the country as well as the number of internal and external migrants (mainly young people), along with the decrease in the number of rural residents, rejuvenation of the age structure. The government of Kazakhstan is taking the necessary measures to support the population in crisis and pandemic. In order to achieve demographic stability as one of the conditions for the economic development of modern Kazakhstan, it is necessary to minimize the unemployment rate, increase the level of investment in human capital and the degree of return on it. Moreover, it is significant to pursue an effective migration policy aimed at attracting permanent and temporary migrants in demand by the economy of the country. The government bodies are taking the measures necessary for the development of the socio-economic sphere of society and ensure the national security of the country.
