Dot-blot immunoanalysis test-system for the detection of antibodies to mycobacteria of bovine tuberculosis

We developed a diagnostic test-system on the basis of dot-blot enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for conducting screening analysis for bovine tuberculosis under field conditions. According to the research results, it was established that diagnosing bovine tuberculosis using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay gives additional information to the tuberculin skin test. Comparative analysis of the diagnostic efficacy of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in a classic variant and dot-blot enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay during the diagnosis of bovine tuberculosis, showed the possibility of using dot-blot enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay in ascertainment of epizootic situation of bovine tuberculosis in the farms.
