Spiritual and moral principles of Mari paganism in teaching of native literature (in connection with the change of academic paradigm)

The article is a response to the problem of introduction into the teaching practice of Mari literature spiritual and moral traditions of folk people. The author offers an alternative approach to the study of an academic course in Mari literature on the basis of pluralistic conception in place of dominating monistic principle. The relation of monistic principle with the ruling class disclosing itself in domination of the ethic over the aesthetic is considered. In the article the phenomenological reading of literary works, systematic and variational forms of class and outclass activities with religious and mythologic material is proposed.
