This article provides a comparative analysis of two studies of Dostoevsky made by two researchers - Finnish slavist Oscar von Schoultz and Serbian religious thinker the Reverend Iustin Popovitch. It focuses primarily on the system and evolution of positive and negative characters of Dostoevsky's novels in the context of faith and unbelief.
